Tall and sexy Aishwarya Sakhuja, who achieved fame in the television industry with Sony Entertainment Television’s Saas Bina Sasural, enjoyed hosting stint in Star Plus’ Shriman V/s Shrimati. Very soon, she will don again the hat of a hostess in Star Plus’ upcoming reality show India’s Dancing Superstar with Mohit Malhotra.
Talking about her experience about anchoring Shriman, Aishwarya avers, “It’s good to be back to your first job. It is universal that I started my career as an anchor and have hosted many shows on Zoom. So it is not new for me and I know the techniques and ways to connect with audiences. But yes, one thing that has to keep in mind while hosting any show is to have a presence of mind. You need to know the show’s format, the contestants and the judges very well.”
How is it working with co-anchor Karan Wahi? “Karan is a dear friend and a very good human being. Frequently, both of us pull each other’s leg. It is Karan who owned the show in the terms of hosting. It is easy for him as he knows the contestants well by now.”
In future can we see her participating in Nach Baliye? “Yes, why not unless my baliye (partner) doesn’t mind dancing. I have always loved dancing, so if I get an opportunity, would surely go for it.”
So are you all set for one more reality show as a host? “Yes totally and I am enjoying it. India’s Dancing Superstar is a very different and unique show. The best thing about it is that it doesn’t have any age limit and all types of groups, solo, duo are welcome to participate. I am surprised to see even people around 80 coming for auditions. In all, it is good to see so much of a dedication in the participants.”
All the best… Aishwarya!!!
