MUMBAI: Samridhii Shukla starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is in the news. Two actors from the show were terminated recently for their unprofessional behaviour. Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe's termination was a huge shock.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai also stars Saloni Sandhu, Shivam Khajuria, Rishabh Jaiswal, Shruti Rawat, Sandeep Kumaar, Vineet Raina, Sandeep Rajora, Gaurav Sharma, Shruti Ulfat, Sharon Varma, Preeti Puri Choudhary, Sidharth Vasudev, Sikandar Kharbanda, Manthan Setia and others.
Saloni Sandhu is seen in the role of Charu Bansal in the show. She has been one of the most important characters in the show and has been paired with Vineet Raina in the show. Saloni has now opened up about how she bagged the role of Charu in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Speaking to Etimes, she said she had auditioned for the show and the very next day she got a call that she has been selected. Saloni revealed it was a surreal moment for her. She further spoke about how the role of Charu in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has played a big role in her life.
She said that she loves portraying Charu every day and this show has a huge legacy. She also shared that playing Charu has boosted her career and it has had an amazing impact on her life. She also said that she had to face a lot of rejections in her acting career.
However, Saloni believes rejection plays an important role in everyone's life and that rejections have made her more powerful and confident.

In the recent episode, we saw Dev and Charu's closeness. Dev revealed to Charu that he is divorced and has a two year old child. Charu confesses that she loves him. It will be interesting to see where this love story will go up to.
