From bashing the bad boys in his movies, to romancing the leading ladies or tickling the audiences with his comic timing, Bollywood’s Khiladi (Akshay) Kumar has done it all and impressed his fans in every role that he has played.
This multi-talented star amazed everyone when he crooned a romantic song- Mujh Mein Tu for his movie Special Chabbis for which he apparently underwent a five-month training to perfect his voice.
Akki has once again made use of his new found talent and this time used it on the small screen. While performing for the special Eid show, Jashn-e-Eid that would be telecast soon on Colors, the actor sang the famous Qawali- Chadhta Suraj Dheere Dheere...
He sang the Qawali with the famous Pakistani Sufi duo Shabiri Brothers and decided to dedicate this special song to an old college-mate of his, whom he lost years back.
Said the actor with a heavy heart, “I dedicated this song to a very close friend who passed away at a very young age. We used to hum this song together in college. I miss him whenever I hear this Qawali which is very close to my heart.”
So compassionate was his voice, that Akki stirred everyone present on the sets with his genuineness and sincerity. The actor was performing with the star cast of Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara to promote his film.
It was touching to see the tough guy’s emotional side coming to the fore.
