MUMBAI: Yesterday, there were reports that Mahesh Babu’s father Krishna has been hospitalized as he suffered from a heart attack. This morning, we woke up with the sad news that he has passed away. Today’s generation will know him as Mahesh Babu’s father, but not many would know that he was an actor, producer, director, and politician.
Krishna made his debut with the Telugu film Thene Manasulu in 1965. By 1974, he had done 100 movies and by 1982 he had starred in 200 movies. He has been a part of more than 300 movies, and his last release was the 2016 release Sri Sri. In 2009, he was honored with Padma Bhushan for his contribution to Indian cinema.
