MUMBAI : Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been in the news for the past few months due to her health issues. The actress suffers from myositis and recently a report claimed that her treatment cost her Rs. 25 crore and she asked help from a Telugu superstar.
However, now, the actress has given a clarification on it. She shared on her Insta story, “25 crores to treat myositis!? Someone got you a pretty bad deal. I am glad I am only spending just a small fraction of that. And, do you think I was paid in marbles for all the work I've done in my career. So, I can easily take care of myself. Thank you.”
She further wrote, “Myosotis is a condition thousands suffer from. Let’s please be responsible with the information we put out regarding the treatment.”

Samantha has always put rumours to rest whenever a report true/false about her makes it to the headlines.
Talking about her projects, the actress will next be seen in Kushi which is slated to release on 1st September 2023. The movie, which also stars Vijay Deverakonda, is a Telugu film, but it will be dubbed and released in various languages including Hindi. The trailer of the film will be out next week.
Samantha also has OTT series Citadel lined up. It is the Indian installment of international series Citadel which stars Priyanka Chopra and Richard Maiden. The Indian version of Citadel also features Varun Dhawan.
