MUMBAI : One of the most well-known and loved Telugu actors, Sudheer Varma passed away on the 23rd of January in Visakhapatnam after reports said that he consumed poison. He passed away aged 33. Reports say that after consuming poison, he was immediately taken to a private hospital in Hyderabad for treatment. But his health declined on Sunday and the doctors were unable to save him.

Sudheer’s sudden passing away shocked the entire Telugu film industry and many well-known celebrities poured in condolences and tributes for the actor.

Sudheer’s co-star from ‘Kundanapau Bomma’, Sudhakar Komakula took to his Twitter handle to confirm the sorrowful news about his passing. He shared his grief and said that he couldn’t believe that Sudheer was dead. He posted some photos of the late actor and wrote, “Sudheer! @sudheervarmak Such a lovely and warm guy’ It was great knowing you and working with you brother! Can’t digest the fact that you are no more! Om Shanti! @iChandiniC @vara_mullapudi @anil_anilbhanu.” Check out the post below:

Even filmmaker Venky Kudumula was shocked at the actor’s death and paid tributes to him saying, “Sometimes the sweetest smiles hide the deepest pain..We never know what others are going through.. Please be empathetic and spread just love !! Miss you ra Sudheer ! You shouldn’t have done this.. May ur soul rest in peace (sic).”

According to reports, Sudheer Varma was handling some mental pressure because of some of his personal issues and so he made the decision to take this extreme step of putting an end to his life. Someone from the family spoke to a well-known media portal and said, “He had been struggling for a while to get good roles.”

Sudheer Varma has been a part of many Telugu films like ‘Kundanapu Bomma’ and ‘Second Hand’. He even played a role in the web series titled ‘Shoot Out At Alair.’ His funeral will take place today in Visakhapatnam.
