MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Mahi's forced acceptance of Prem's lack of interest in her and the one-sided nature of her love seems to indicate that she has lost her mind. Mahi feels rejected and will never be able to accept her faith.
Given that she has been rejected once more, she will be perceived as being in a very poor mental state. She would tell Anupama that her biological mother, Kavya, abandoned her to survive on her own, and that Vanraj never acknowledged her as a daughter.
Although Anupama can tell that Mahi is in pain, she is powerless to assist her because of the complexity of the situation.
As per rumors, Mahi’s mother Kavya will soon enter the show.
