MUMBAI: Anupamaa rules on the television screens. The show is performing extremely well. It is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Sreemoyee, produced by Rajan and Deepa Shahi under Director's Kut Productions. The show stars Gaurav Khanna, Madalsa Sharma, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Rupali Ganguly.

It is speculated that the makers are intended to leap ahead by nearly ten years, and most of the cast will be leaving the program. Mahi will be seen being adopted by Anupama as her daughter because Kavya and Vanraj have both vanished.
Aadhya, portrayed as the antagonist of the show, is jealous of Mahi for capturing Anupama and Anuj's attention as soon as she entered their lives. Aadhya refuses to give anyone to share her parents.
Anupama strives to maintain a healthy balance between both her adopted daughters. Mahi will be referred to as the second Anupama and will be seen as the show's positive lead.
The main plot of the show revolves around the rivalry between Mahi and Aadhya as Anuj and Anupama try to find a balance for both of their daughters.
