MUMBAI: Colors’ show Molkki is an interesting drama.
The show features Priyal Mahajan, Amar Upadhyay and Toral Rasputra in pivotal roles.
The concept of the film is based on a practise in Northern India of bride buying where poor girls are sold off as brides to rich men.

The story revolves around Purvi, a 19-year-old girl who becomes the molkki bride of 42-year-old chief Virendra Pratap Singh, a widower, and father of four children. She fights for her and other molkki brides' rights, as well as fulfil her responsibilities as wife, daughter-in-law, mother, and chieftess of Rewari.
The show focuses on an important drama currently wherein Virendra ousts Prakashi from the house when Sakshi also promises to leave soon.
Just when Virendra and Purvi plan their night of consummation, here Sakshi determines to not let them intimate. And this is when she replaces Purvi in the bedroom only to get intimate with Virendra. However, nothing like that happens. Finally, it's an end for Sakshi as Virendra catches her red-handed and recognizes her. Virendra bursts in anger and finally grabbing her hand, he ousts her from the house.
Now, it's time for the happy reunion of Virendra and Purvi.
