MUMBAI: Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been ruling the roost. The show is loved immensely by the audience. Apart from the lead pair Kartik and Naira played Shivagi Joshi and Mohsin Khan, Samir Onkar and Simran Khanna’s pair of Samarth and Gayu also have an incredible number of fans.

Spilling the beans about the upcoming track of the show which may revolve around Samarth and Gayu’s relationship, Samir said, “ The uniqueness of this pair is that they don't behave like how a normal life couple does. Their life journey is very interesting in things like fighting for various reasons for the longest period of time yet hiding it from the family as both the characters are different souls who got together and have seen a lot many up-downs in their relationship. I feel in the further storyline also our relationship would be kept unique thanks to the writers and the makers showing it through the way they live their lives or how they tackle their kids or perspectives. I am hoping for something good and interesting”.

Speaking about the same, Simran said, “Basically, the relationship which is shown in this show between Samarth and Gayatri that is very unique. They are very mature and their relationship is all about understanding in spite of having differences. The chemistry is portrayed as sensible individuals who sort their differences, who respect each other, care about each other and are not like those nok-jhok couples which makes them different from others”.
