MUMBAI: Star Plus’ show Udne Ki Aasha is heading toward a major turning point in its storyline. While Ranjit's chapter has come to an end with his arrest, it has left behind a wave of tension between Sailee and Sachin. Before being taken into custody, Ranjit warned Sailee that she doesn't truly know her husband — and that the truth, once revealed, would leave her shocked.
In the previous episodes, Sailee becomes determined to uncover the truth about Sachin’s past and understand why he has been hiding it. Her investigation reveals that Sachin had dropped out of school at a certain point and never pursued his studies thereafter. She also learns of a major accident that took place during his school years — one that left his schoolmate Ankit in a coma.

Sailee visits Ankit's house, where she is met by Ankit’s mother. In an emotionally charged conversation, the woman holds Sachin responsible for her son’s condition, revealing that Ankit has been bedridden ever since the incident occurred.
Shaken by the revelation, Sailee confronts Sachin and expresses her deep hurt over his lack of trust in her. She tells him that it pains her that he chose to hide such a significant part of his life. Moved by her words, Sachin finally opens up and shares his entire story.
Sachin reveals that his father had sent him to live with his grandmother in a village for nearly six years. As a result, he grew up in a rural environment, disconnected from his immediate family. Upon his return to Mumbai, he felt like a stranger in his own home. His mother, who was deeply attached to Tejas, struggled to reconnect with him. Sachin, yearning for her affection, tried to model himself after Tejas in an attempt to earn her love.
He further recalls an incident where Tejas was being bullied at school. Sachin rushed to defend his brother, but amid the chaos, a boy named Ankit fell down a flight of stairs. Following the accident, Ankit’s mother filed a series of attempted murder charges against Sachin, which led to his arrest and subsequent time in a juvenile correction facility.
As Sachin breaks down while reliving the traumatic memories of his childhood, Sailee offers him comfort, support, and unconditional love. However, she also gently tells him that she feels there is still more to the story — that he hasn’t shared everything.
What is Sachin still hiding from Sailee? Only time will tell.
