Bong actors and the Olympic game they would like to play

The world is down with Olympic fever! And this fever inspires people, inspires people to work hard to realize dreams. This year athletes P.V. Sindhu, Sakshi Malik and Dipa Karmakar made us proud with their mind blowing performances in Rio.

Tellychakkar.com caught up with a few Bong film and TV actors to know about the Olympic Game they would like to play. Read on.

Ishaan Mazumder: I would like to participate in the archery competition. During my stay in Bangalore, I had performed this sport many a times. I find this game quite exciting. Actually, I like any such games where we need to focus and concentrate. Such games help us to focus better in other areas of life too.

Shampa Banerjee: I wish I was trained and could participate in the gymnastics…I just love the grace and elegance of the sport.

Raj Bhattacharyya: I am a mofussil boy so games have always been an integral part of me. I spent my childhood playing a variety of games. If you talk about Olympics…well, given a chance, I would like to participate either in badminton or in soccer as I just love the games.

Amrita Chattopadhyay: Well, inspired by athlete Flo-Jo, I would like to participate in the 100 m race. I haven’t played the other games before. So, funnily, this seems to be the only option for me.

Siddhartha Banerjee:  If I ever get a chance to play in Olympics then I would like to participate in wrestling. I have always been a health conscious person. I used to practice bodybuilding and wrestling has always inspired me.

Sonalee Chaudhuri: The way fishes float in the water I wished to do the same since I was a little girl. That liking still remains the same and will remain the same as long as I will live. So, I cannot think of anywhere else but the swimming pool where I wish to see myself if given an opportunity in Olympics and winning a medal for my country.
