TV actresses share tips to look gorgeous this wedding season

Winter means time to welcome the wedding season!

We are in the last month of 2016 and the season of marriage has already begun in full swing. While you get your wardrobe in order, we help you with few tips shared by your favourite TV actresses.

Yes, the pretty ladies shared some important wedding dos and don'ts that you can note down before heading off to your loved one’s nuptials. Read on:

Rubina Dilaik:

As I have good knowledge of fabrics, I like to play around with it. I style my own clothes and give a very unique touch to it. My styling is traditional with a modern twist to it. I like chanderi fabric and raw silk as it looks classy. Silk gives the true essence of authenticity. I believe if your dress is prefect then don’t overdo with jewellery. If you are wearing big danglers then you don’t need any other jewellery.

Kamya Punjabi:

I love dressing up for shaadis. I have a special love for Indian clothes, when it comes to wedding. Red lehengas, gajra, mang tikka, bangles and most importantly, nose ring is my way of dressing up. These things can never go wrong at any occasion.

Mahhi Vij:

We saw many good trends in year 2016. The best part is that people are actually taking the effort to dress up at parties and weddings. I think colours play an important role. I like subtle colours such as pink, yellow, white and golden. I like gota work a lot. The new trend which I adore the most is lehengas with silt. It makes you look pretty and classy.

Barkha Bisht:

There is beauty in simplicity. It will make you look classic and elegant. This wedding season, avoid red and maroon as it’s too common. Instead go for lighter shades.  Your outfit can be enhanced with simple jewellery. It’s nicer if you keep your hair up.

Surbhi Jyoti:

Sarees can never go out of fashion. It makes a girl look beautiful and sexy. As per the current trend, off-shoulder crop tops, blouses and dresses look stunning. You can pair it up with pants, lehengas or a skirt. Makeup plays an important part in the whole look. Smokey eyes and nude lipstick are perfect.

Gauahar Khan:

Wedding attire means heavy jewellery and lehenga for me. If the wedding is of someone close and you have to run around then avoid wearing high heels. Hair left open looks beautiful. Talking about makeup, if it’s a morning wedding, then wear light makeup, while an evening gala calls for dark colours. Tip- Don’t apply red lipstick on every look just because it’s in trend.
