Jennifer Winget prefers "keeping distance" on the sets of Saraswatichandra

Jennifer Winget
Normally daily soap actors who work together for long hours on sets tend to gel a lot with their co- stars. Of course, you need to have some jolly good time with folks with whom you spend more than 12 hours a day. The unit becomes an extended family where you can reveal your inner most secrets (wink). However, the scenario is slightly different with actress Jennifer Winget, the lead girl of Star Plus’ (simulcasts on Doordarshan) show Saraswatichandra. A little birdie has whispered into our ears that she apparently does not mix or joke around with her co-stars at all (Gautam Rode, Monica Bedi and Chetan Pandit). “Rather, she prefers keeping it professional. She retires to her vanity van when she is not needed,” said a source. However, it is learnt that her co-stars, including Gautam, are okay with her behavior for they are also professional actors and don’t believe that you need to have certain “off screen” equation to get required “on screen” chemistry. Another source on this Sanjay Leela Bhansali produced show added that Jennifer only mingles with a few co-stars, but not all. We tried to contact Jennifer and Gautam to get more info on the same, but both remained unavailable for comment.
