Tapur will match steps with choreographer Firoz. Never a great dancer, she's having an awful time learning salsa and ballroom dancing. Here, the graceful model tells us all about her dancing experience. Why did you agreed to participate in Jhalak…? I'm always excited to learn something new. It'll be a fun to compete with other participants. Were you apprehensive initially? I've never done something like this; so it's going to be a good experience for me. I'm a classy model, so doing Samba and Salsa becomes difficult. Other contestants are not new to such dance forms so I need to work very hard on my steps as well as facial expressions. How's the experience been? I scored less in the first round but will soon buck up. I enjoyed myself and other contestants too praised my performance. Since you have got such low marks, any fears of early elimination? I didn't participate to win but to learn different forms of dance. I believe in giving the best and leave the rest to God. How does it feel to be on television? It feels great. Now people will come to know that I'm not like other snooty models who never want to do television. Any mantras on how to stay away from controversies? I'm just going to concentrate on my performance and will not pay any attention to controversies. Let people say whatever they feel like. I conduct myself with dignity and will stay away from any such issues. Among the three judges who do you fear the most? Shaimak. What's your fashion philosophy? Simplicity with style. Tapur, a better model or dancer? I love doing both. Modeling is not every one's cup of tea and dance can be learnt with the help of a good trainer. Some of the clothes that you wear in fashion shows are outrageous. What do you have to say on that? As a model, it's my job to present all the clothes designed. Recently, there were some press reports that modesty has returned to fashion? I don't think so. There're people who're very comfortable with wild clothes. On the other hand, people like me prefer to dress with dignity.
