I believe puja has to be performed with all purity and faith in god. However, I don't spend hours in performing puja everyday at a temple at my place. My mantra of relaxing: I love seeing candles lit everywhere at my place as I am extremely fond of them. Candles have a very soothing effect and it gives me a very relaxed feeling.
