Aashish Kaul enters Kaavyanjali as Mr. Malhotra

Aashish Kaul is probably the only TV actor with three shows on air, all on the same channel. In Star Plus' Kasautii Zindagi Kay, he plays Cezanne Khan’s brother Subratho at 8.30. pm. In the 11 pm show, K Street Pali Hill, he plays Mr Satlani, a lawyer. Now, he enters the Kavyanjali plot tonight as Mr. Mahotra, at 9.30 pm. “I am playing Kanishk’s father, who is getting married soon. I am playing a businessman from Hong Kong. I have just shot for two days and I am enjoying the role. I shot with Amrita Singh, who is a fabulous actress and a thorough professional. "Jassi, the Kavyanjali director, had also directed Kkusum, so I feel quite comfortable with the unit," says Aashish. Anjali Bhattacharya is playing my wife. The unit of Kaavyanjali is going to Pune for a week, adds Aashish. How is he going to manage three dailies, Aashish says, “All my three shows are for Balaji, which is professionally very organised, so it is easy to make adjustments in the shooting schedules. Moreover, all the shows are on Star Plus, which gives visibility to an actor. I am playing a father in Kavyanjali, brother in Kasautii and a lawyer in K Street.., which definitely makes my career profile nice!” Aashish, who's got acting in his genes, is also into the textile business, he supplies table linen and towels to hotels like Grand Hyatt, Leela and Taj group of Hotels.
