MUMBAI: Zee TV is set to introduce a compelling new fiction show, Vasudha, which explores what happens when two starkly contrasting characters from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds come together in the most unexpected ways. And no, the total opposites we're talking about here are not the boy and girl of your average love story but two women who’re like fire and ice, with very different world views, levels of exposure and divergent ways of thinking and operating in life. Produced by Arvind Babbal Productions, ‘Vasudha’ promises a mix of light-hearted moments, emotional depth, and intense clashes of ideologies and temperaments.

Popular actor Nausheen Ali Sardar and debutant Priya Thakur will play the lead characters of Chandrika and Titular role Vasudha respectively, featuring alongside them will also be the talented actor Abhishek Sharma. He will be portraying the role of Devansh Singh Chauhan, an ideal son of the Chauhan family, embodying a perfect blend of his father's empathy and his mother's discipline. He believes in hard work, humanity, and giving people second chances. Devansh holds a deep respect for his mother, Chandrika, and provides unwavering support to those he trusts.

Abhishek Sharma shared, “Devansh Singh Chauhan is a multi-faceted character with a strong sense of empathy and discipline. Working alongside a talented actor like Nausheen Ma'am has been a rewarding experience. Playing Devansh is particularly exciting for me because he is a character with depth and complexity. He respects his mother deeply and stands by those he believes in, embodying a unique blend of empathy and strict adherence to principles. I am looking forward to bringing this character to life and hope the audience will resonate with his journey, values, and approach to dealing with life's complexities. I can't wait for everyone to experience the rich tapestry of characters and narratives we've woven together.”

Despite the stark differences between the two characters, will Vasudha be able to impress Chandrika? Can they co-exist in the same household? What will happen when their worlds collide? Stay tuned to find out as ‘Vasudha’ promises to add an interesting new flavour to the channel's vibrant content mix!

'Vasudha' will premiere soon on Zee TV
