Acting is my passion and this is what drives me every day: Fahad Ali

Fahad Ali
Yesterday Tellychakkar.com exclusively reported about the makers of Channel V’s popular show The Buddy Project coming up with its season 3. And with only few actors said to be retained, we called up the popular Fahad Ali and asked him about this development. “Well, it’s saddening to see that you have to part ways with your teammates with whom you have worked so hard. Both Palak (Jain) and Bharati (Kumar) are close friends and it will be a different experience working without them in the show. But then life does move on and we are left with just some wonderful sweet memories,” observed Fahad. So is he planning to quit the show or continue with it? “See things are yet to be discussed and planned. But I have very high regards and faith on my producer Sudhir Sharma and am sure that he has good plans for all of us. Let’s see how the third season churns out to be; we are yet to be briefed but I am sure it’s going to be interesting for sure,” he answered. The new season, that will be a bi-weekly, will give ample time for the actor to take up new projects. When asked if he is open to doing new shows, Fahad smilingly replied, “Of course, but like every other actor, Bollywood is definitely the place I would want to be in. I would like to do some big banner movies like with YRF. I am really looking forward to make a mark on the big screen playing some impactful roles.” And what about shows on TV, we wondered. Opined the good looking guy, “See every human wants a change and grow in life. I am open to all kinds of good roles and experiment with various characters. I would like to do a love story that will have the story revolving around my character. I don’t want to do some family dramas in which I will just remain a face in the ensemble cast. I have been part of a youth show and now want to evolve as a mature actor soon." “I want to do some character-based show in which my acting capabilities can be projected well. Acting is my passion which drives me every day and thus I really want to do some good work now, kaam karne ka mann hai. I am not a very episodic kind of a person, but Vikas (Gupta) has wonderful shows on air like Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Webbed and I would love to do that sometime,” Fahad went on to add. Well Fahad, with such potential, the sky should be the limit!
