MUMBAI: Rajan Shahi's show Anupamaa has been doing great on the small screen. The popular show is topping the TRP charts. Anupamaa has witnessed several shocking twists and turns in the story leaving the viewers at the edge of the seat.

Every character in the show has managed to create a long-lasting impression on the minds of the viewers.

Paras Kalnawat who plays the role of Samar on the show has become everyone's hot favorite. He is shown extremely loving and caring, especially towards his mother.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Paras revealed what made him take up the show.

Paras said, "After Mariyam Khan Reporting Live, I did web shows for one and a half years."

On being asked how important Anupamaa is in his life, Paras said, "The show is very important in my life as it is my comeback show on TV."

The actor further said, "When I got this opportunity to star in Rajan sir's show, I had to do it. I wanted to get back to TV with a bang."

Well, Paras' luck favored him and Anupamaa fell in his kitty.

The actor has proved it that no one else could have played the role of Samar such incredibly just like he is doing.
