Akashdeep changes image for 'Trishul'

Is he, isn't he? Ansh is morphing into Trishul. But this Akashdeep Saigal bears no resemblance to Tulsi's villainous son. Gone are the straggly brown tresses, in place is a mane of straight black hair. No more beard, Akashdeep as Trishul in Kkusum sports a clean shaven look. In place of the diamond studs in the earlobes dangle a pair of earrings. And huge red bracelets grace his wrists. Best of all, Trishul is no negative character, he's cool, he's hip, he's all positive energy.

Best of all, Trishul is no negative character, he's cool, he's hip, he's all positive energy. "I cut my hair after two years, I shaved after two years," grins Akash toothily as he readies himself for his new character, again a Balaji product. "My jaw dropped when I heard Ekta planned to bring me into Kkusum; in all honesty, I thought she was thinking of getting me into Kkavyanjali!" Well, well. When he died a gruesome death as Ansh in Kyunki..., Akash had acknowledged that Ekta had a big time role in store for him in another serial. Is he disappointed that he comes not to Star Plus, but to Sony? "This character will make people forget Ansh," claims Akash, if a trifle smugly. As Trishul, Abhay Kapoor's son, Akash will be a 'swwet guy, but one who knows what he wants. He's going to help Kkusum's family in its financial crises. What happens later, who knows!" he shrugs.
