MUMBAI: Bhumika Gurung is one of the most popular actresses in telly town. She gained fame with her performance in the TV soap Nimki Mukhiya. The actress is now garnering attention for her wedding.
She tied the knot with Mahhi Vij’s cousin brother Shekhar Malhotra. Their wedding took place on March 8, and the couple had an Anand Karaj ceremony at a Gurdwara in Mumbai.

For her special day, Bhumika donned a dusty golden lehenga embroidered with delicate work. She sported contrasting jewellery in green and gold, and made for a beautiful bride. Shekhar looked handsome in a floral sherwani with a green stole and turban. Meanwhile, Mahhi Vij wore a multi-coloured suit with tasseled dupatta for her brother's wedding. She smiled and posed after the Anand Karaj ceremony. The actress had earlier expressed her happiness over her cousin brother's wedding with Bhumika.
Bhumika and Shekhar recorded their marriage details post the lawan pheras. The two were surrounded by their near and dear ones. Bhumika with her bridesmaids performed the kaleera ceremony. The couple had haldi, mehendi and sangeet on March 6 and 7. They chose to go green for their mehendi function at home. Talking about this new beginning, Bhumika told ETimes TV that she is happy to be surrounded by her friends and family on the most special days of her life. She said she was excited and also exhausted with the hustle-bustle of the wedding.
On the work front, Bhumika Gurung is known for the TV show Nimki Mukhiya.
