MUMBAI: TellyChakkar.com is back with an update from the world of television.
We exclusively reported that a few actors and crew members from the sets of Colors’ Chhoti Sardarni have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. (Read here: Choti Sardarni: Sarabjit divorces Meher sets her free for Manav!)
Actors Anita Raaj, Geetika Mehandru, Amal Sherawat along with director Jaladh Sharma were found COVID-19 positive and were immediately asked to quarantine themselves.
TellyChakkar.com got in touch with Geetika to know more about her battle with the virus. She said, “I remember waking up to the call from BMC. They informed me about my COVID tests being positive. I was a little surprised as I didn’t have major symptoms. However, I took precautions and followed all the guidelines. My room partner and I were quarantined. My residential floor was sealed. I was taking good care and rest to recover sooner.”
We asked the young actress if she was in touch with the cast of Chhoti Sardarni during her quarantine period. She answered, “Almost everyone was in touch with me. My co-actors and the production crew used to call me daily to take my health updates. I would like to mention Anita (Raaj) mam. She was constantly in touch and helped me recover sooner. She would call me and inquire about my medicines and would also give me suggestions to add important medicines. She has been very considerate.”
Geetika is now back on the sets of Chhoti Sardarni as within a week of her quarantine, her body reacted positively to the medication and she tested negative.
