Speaking about her reaction upon learning that she had bagged a role in Anupamaa, Akshita said, “I was over the moon. Anupamaa is the only show my parents watch religiously. They’ve been following it since day one and absolutely love it. For me, joining the cast of such a legendary show is nothing less than a dream come true.”
When asked about working with Rupali Ganguly, Akshita shared a heartwarming story that she feels made her entry into the show feel destined. “Just a couple of days before joining Anupamaa, I happened to see Rupali Ma’am at a Garba event. I was attending another event at the same venue, and as I was leaving, my friends and I clicked a picture with her. Seeing her days before joining the show felt like a good omen. When I first met her on the set, she welcomed me so warmly. Her humility and hard work are exactly why she has achieved the success she has, and it truly makes working with her a special experience.”
