MUMBAI : Aashish Mehrotra is a well-known personality on television and he has a good fan following.
These days he is grabbing the headlines for his performance in the television number one show Anupamaa.
His acting chops are appreciated by the audience as his character is grey and his performance is so good that the fans hate his character but love his performance and that's the sign of a good actor.
But recently he shocked his fans by announcing that he has quit Anupama and his journey has come to an end.
He was last seen in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi where he aced all the stunts and faced his fears.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him if he felt that introducing a new cast in the show affects the ratings.
In response, the actor said, ‘As a maker, you introduce a character when you make a show, and then you work on improving the character as much as you want’ It's our responsibility as actors to do our best work and validate the character. The first step would be for the creators to alter some of the characters, and if you continue to defend the modifications and portray those many nuances as an actor, you will succeed.
‘The character change occurs as the story changes in the show,’ he added. For instance, I began playing a grey character named "Toshu," who was extremely intelligent and a MBA student before running away and getting married. He committed robbery, among other things. It's undoubtedly difficult, but as an actor, you should have fun with the process rather than take it seriously. You can consider ways to play with the role’
Well, there is no doubt that Aashish got lots of love for playing the character Toshu and he became a household name.
