However, in an intriguing revelation, seasoned actress Rukhsar Rehman has shared that she was initially in talks to take on the lead role in Anupama.
With nearly three decades in the industry and a repertoire of acclaimed performances across television and OTT platforms, Rukhsar's statement has certainly caught the attention of fans and industry insiders alike.
In a recent interview, the actress opened up about how the opportunity slipped away. “Rajan Shahi’s team had reached out to me,” she shared. “But at the time, I was juggling prior commitments with an OTT project and dealing with some personal matters. I had requested a few days' time, but unfortunately, I couldn’t take up the project back then. It’s all destiny—perhaps something else was written for me.”
While Rukhsar missed out on the role, there are no hard feelings. She gracefully acknowledged that every actor’s journey is unique, and sometimes, the universe simply has other plans.
