MUMBAI: Star Plus' show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai which has been running on small screens for more than a decade is all set for a big change.
The show is all set for a big generation leap.
The makers have already introduced the new star cast a few days ago.
Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami are portraying the lead roles in the show.
The story will go 20 years forward and all the new actors will be seen in the long-running drama series.
The leap will premiere from 6th November onwards and the first promo of the same is already out a few days ago.

The promo gives an introduction to Abhira who is Abhinav and Akshara's daughter who aspires to become a lawyer like her mother.
While Samridhii Shukla has managed to impress the viewers and looks quite promising, the viewers have noted something about her character.
A lot of viewers have commented on the promo and questioned the makers about this one strange thing.
The ardent viewers want to know why Abhinav and Akshara's daughter is given the name Abhira which is the ship name of Akshara and Abhimanyu.
