Avneet recently surprised everyone when she made her first appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. The actress not only got love from her fans but also was severely trolled by others. Reacting to the latter, Avneet said, “Yes, recently there were people who commented on my Cannes appearance saying, “Who took her to Cannes”? “Isko kisne bulaya?” I was like I had to release the poster of my film. There was a reason behind going to Cannes and I wanted to represent India at the International level. I was very proud of that feeling. My parents were also proud of me but I don’t know why people get so negative sometimes or spread negativity. I feel we all should stop spreading this negativity Aur jitna hosake Ek dusre ko appreciate, support karna chahiye and we should spread positivity.”

Apart from doing many successful Tv shows, Avneet has also made her Hindi Film debut in Kangana Ranaut’s production Tiku Weds Sheru opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
