AWESOME! Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 fame Chandni Sharma on going bold: I am okay with it but don't want to sell my role just on the basis of skin show

Chandni Sharma of Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 fame shares her views on doing bold scenes.

MUMBAI: Colors' show Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 was one of the most popular romantic-thriller series of the small screen.

The show also went digital a few months ago and had received a great response from the viewers.

Well, Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 had a successful run for a year and went off-air on 5th July.

Diehard fans couldn't accept the fact that the show is bidding adieu to viewers.

But now, as the show is off-air, the audiences are waiting for the actors to announce their next projects soon.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Chandni Sharma, who played the role of Ishani on the show. Chandni was seen in a negative avatar and she was appreciated for her performance.

This was Chandni's debut show and it worked wonders for her.

She was paired opposite Zyan Ibad Khan, who played the role of Angre.

The actress is now looking out for some good opportunities and wants to try something different.

A lot of actors are exploring web shows these days, and Chandni too is interested in exploring something in the digital medium.

However, web shows often demand bold content where the actresses are required to perform intimate scenes.

We asked Chandni how comfortable she is when it comes to going bold for such shows, and she said, ''It's a different thing if it is required for the script. It also depends on how aesthetically the scenes are shot. And that matters a lot.''

The actress added, ''I come from a pageant background and I have worn a bikini during my ramp shows, but that's okay as it was required. Many models have worn. I would clearly refuse to wear a bikini for a TV show as it is not required and it is not the right platform.''

Chandni continued, ''It's not a no for me, but I don't want to sell my role or a character just on the basis of skin show.''

Well said, Chandni!
