MUMBAI: Mahira Sharma, who was seen in Bigg Boss 13, is currently spending time with her family in Mohali with her family. “I love my me-time at home. I watch TV and apni family ka deemag khaati hoon! I have also developed a new hobby of gardening and have been learning a lot about plants. In fact, my whole family loves gardening,” she says.
Talk about her bond with Paras which started inside the Bigg Boss house and the actress blushes and says, “Paras has become a part of my family now. I stay with him the way I stay with my family. He has been my strongest support in my Bigg Boss journey. Humara aur Paras ka bond bahut gehra ho gaya hai ab and it is growing stronger with each passing day. He is my buddy. There is a reason why people are not able to link me with anyone other than Paras. I am happy that I have him in my life. Koi Paras jaisa nahi hai, but I don’t want to make anything official right now. If ever I think of a partner, Paras fits the bill.”
The pandemic struck soon after she came out of the Bigg Boss house last year. She says, “The lockdown was announced within a few weeks. After I got out of the Bigg Boss house, I got calls for web shows, I also got an offer for a Punjabi film and I was even going to Australia as a show stopper for a fashion show. Soon when things were rolling for me, the first lockdown happened and we were all sitting at our homes."
She adds, "After it was lifted, I started shooting for music videos in different cities. I also got offers for TV shows, which I refused. I don’t want to do serials at the moment. I love TV, but as of now I am scared of going on the sets of a show and shooting daily. I am scared of contracting COVID. I would like to wait till the time I get fully vaccinated to resume shooting for shows, whether on TV or web.”
The actress also revealed that she has not seen a single episode of Bigg Boss after the reality show ended. “I did a lot of masti inside the house, but I am not sure if that side of me was shown outside. I haven't watched the show... itni himmat nahi hui meri. I judged my journey from the reactions I’ve been getting from my fans, which has been positive and encouraging. The main reason for not watching myself on screen in Bigg Boss is because of my skin, which had a lot of pimples during the season. After the bleach was put on my skin during a task, I had so many pimples. I don’t look like that at all. And that’s why I didn’t watch the show, to be honest,” shares Mahira.
