MUMBAI: Bharti Singh is known as the Laughter Queen of the nation. She is among the very few prominent female comedians of the country and she enjoys massive fan-following. While she often brings smiles on the faces of the people, she recalled a time when she was horribly trolled for marrying a comparatively thin guy, Haarsh.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Bharti Singh opened up about the emotional toll of facing body-shaming, particularly after sharing her wedding photographs. The popular comedian and television host revealed how hurtful comments about her appearance overshadowed what should have been one of the happiest moments of her life. She reflected on the insensitive remarks made by some social media users, admitting that, at the time, the negativity did affect her deeply.

She recalled that people couldn't digest the fact that a healthy girl like her could marry someone like Haarsh. She added that she and Haarsh would read those comments and laugh over it. She said, "Hum haste they par kahin na kahin usko bhi feel hota tha, aur mujhe bhi feel hota tha (We used to laugh, but somewhere down the line we both felt bad."
