MUMBAI: The countdown has officially begun for one of India’s most anticipated television spectacles — Bigg Boss Season 19.
With excitement soaring and social media abuzz, fans are gearing up for the return of television’s most unpredictable and high-voltage reality show. A number of celebrities have been approached to participate in the show. While some of them are locked, few are yet to sign the dotted lines.
TellyChakkar.com has exclusively learned that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Shailesh Lodha has been approached for the show.

For the uninitiated, Gurucharan Singh Sodhi who played the character of Roshan Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for years is also speculated to be a part of the show. If Lodha comes on board too, it will be an exciting reunion and nostalgia for fans to witness.
Shailesh made a controversial exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah alleging disrespect by the producer of the show, Asit Modi. Sachin Shroff replaced Lodha as Tarak Mehta in the show.
We couldn't connect with Lodha or the channel's spokesperson for a confirmation.
Apart from Gurucharan, Udaan actress Meera Deosthale is also expected to join the show.
Bigg Boss 19 is all set to hit the TV screens from 24th August 2025 while a special episode is said to be released a day prior.
