MUMBAI: And Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna is here!
After lifting the winner's trophy, Gaurav Khanna interacted with the media present on the sets. The moment he arrived in front of the media, everyone rooted for the winner. The first thing Gaurav told the media was, "GK kya karega?" and the media went ahead to answer his question by saying, "GK trophy jeetega."
Gaurav had quite an eventful journey, with his existence being questioned several times during the initial phase of the show. He was often tagged as the 'backfoot player' and 'calculative'; however, he put his blinders on and proved his worth by lifting the winner's trophy.
In his media interaction, Gaurav mentioned that what the contestants told him or tagged him as never mattered, as he always had his eyes on the trophy. He added that he worked towards impressing the audience and not the contestants.
In the interview, Gaurav said, "Jab main aaya tha, tab logon ne kai saare sawal kiye, taane maare, backfoot, wagera par woh log yeh bhul gaye they ke Bigg Boss ek mind game hai, ek marathon hai, or isme yeh matter karta hai ke last line kaun pehle cross karta hai or meri nazar sirf meri manzil pe thi, mujhe nai farak padta ki woh pandhra log mere baare mey kya sochte hai, kyuki mujhe pata tha ki bahar ded sau crore jo mere baare mey soch rahe hai, woh acha hona chaiye."
(When I came into the house, people asked many questions, taunted me, talked about being on the backfoot, etc., but they forgot that Bigg Boss is a mind game, a marathon, and what really matters is who crosses the finish line first — and my eyes were always on my goal. I don’t care what those fifteen people think about me, because I knew that what the one-and-a-half billion people outside think about me should be good.)
For the uninitiated, Pranit More, Farrhana Bhatt and Gaurav Khanna were the top 3 contestants of Bigg Boss 19 and eventually, the Anupamaa actor won the show. Along with the shining trophy, Gaurav also took home a prize money of 50 lakh rupees.
