1. Mihir Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi

In this very popular '00s show, Ronit played the role of Smriti Irani's pivotal character Tulsi Virani's husband post-replacing Amar Upadhyay from the same role. Owing to his longer sustenance as Mihir on-screen, fans have never complained about him replacing Amar and rather found him a suitable partner for Smriti's Tulsi over the ages. Herein. Ronit portrayed the role of a doting husband, son and father who went to all extents to safeguard his family and reconciled with Tulsi everytime they parted ways under destiny's spell.

2. Mr. Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagi Kay

At the same time, Roy also put his shoes in the character of Mr. Bajaj for Ekta Kapoor's evening classic show - Kasautii Zindagi Kay. Here, he portrayed the role of the female lead Prerna Sharma's (played by Shweta Tiwari) husband. Though his appearances were brief, yet the age-gap understanding between his character and that of Shweta's Prerna enhanced his role well.

3. K.D. Pathak in Adaalat

Roy portrayed the promising character of a defence attorney named K.D. Pathak in this courtroom drama anthology series. The show had 2 seasons in total. The first season of the show premiered on Sony on 20 November 2010 and ran for five years by ending on 11th July 2015. The second season aired on Sony SET from 4th June 2016 to 4th September 2016. 

4. Rohit Mehra in Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain

Rohit Roy and Mona Singh are the prime leads of the show. Rohit plays the role of chartered accountant Rohit Mehra and the story revolves around him, his family and his illicit relationship with Ananya (portrayed by Mona Singh). The show has 3 seasons as of yet and it's well lauded for portraying well-balanced chemistry amid the leads. The show airs on the digital platform Alt Balaji.

5. Roy's big screen roles in Boss, Kaabil, Udaan and 2 States

Roy has delivered marvellous performances in all these 4 afore-mentioned movies. He played the evil vamp in Boss and Kaabil was his roles were highly acclaimed by the critics. In 2 States, he played the role of an estranged father who later becomes the sole bonding factor amid his son and (to-be) daughter-in-law, which eventually leads to their happy marriage. Lastly, Roy was honoured with the Best Supporting Actor (Male) award for Udaan at the '56th Filmfare Awards' programme.
