Colors launches Golden Petal Awards

Colors channel wrote a new chapter in the history of Indian television by churning out path-breaking shows like Balika Vadhu, Uttaran, Phulwa, Laado, Bigg Boss, Khatron Ke Khiladi, Veer Shivaji et al. When majority of channels were focusing on urban storylines, Colors shifted its programming paradigm and based its shows on rural themes.
