A ‘Daag’ on Colors

Before you jump to any conclusion, there isn’t any blot on Colors but Daag is the title of B.A.G Films upcoming show that’s expected to go on air by August. Talking about the show, a source says, “Daag is the story of a poor girl whose parents are struggling to find a suitable groom for her. She’s not a manglik but it’s just her poor economic condition that goes her every time. With every rejection, the family too starts cursing their daughter, who thinks she would never get married. However, finally there will be a guy who comes into her life. ” Adding further, the source says, “The show is expected to launch somewhere in August. It’s been a struggle to find the two leads. Nishant Bhatt, who was Shilpa Shukla’s choreographer in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3, had also auditioned for the male lead. The producer and the channel have thus struggled to find their desired face for the female protagonist. Parul Chaudhary (Dehleez fame) is among the few names to have been finalised.” B.A.G Films business head Neelanjana Purkyestha denied making such a show.
