Dalljiet Kaur and Nikhil Patel's marriage controversy gets SLAMMED; netizens say, 'Why are they their washing dirty linen in public?' - AUDIENCE VERDICT

MUMBAI: The recent news has focused on Dalljiet Kaur and her estranged husband Nikhil Patel's marital issues.

Mudslinging is prevalent and is done back and forth. According to reports, the Kenyan businessman fully rejected their Hindu marriage, claiming that it was purely cultural and had no legal significance.

For the benefit of the unaware, Kaur had claimed that Patel was having an extramarital affair; in response, he had issued a declaration verifying their breakup. According to reports, Dalljiet Kaur's social media posts accusing her husband of having an extramarital affair are problematic legally under the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act of 2000, and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act of 2012.

Nikhil has been silent the entire time, while Dalljiet has been making remarks.

Nikhil has finally come clean and given a statement to the media about all the hurt she has endured. He has addressed the problems that caused him to break up with Dalljiet and the many accusations she has made against him in a lengthy statement. Nikhil continued by saying that Dalljiet had merely acted as though they were in a legal union in order to play the victim and provide support for their marriage, which was in no way a legitimate marriage ceremony.

Nikhil stated that he had assisted Dalljiet with her requirements. Nikhil concluded his assertion by saying that Dalljiet had trouble adjusting to her newfound lack of celebrity status in Kenya.

Dalljiet gave a reply to him and called him a liar in a strong response.
