MUMBAI: With lathkes, jhatkes and zoordaar thumkes, &TV's Happu Ki Ultan Paltan will soon see a dashing young woman enter the show claiming to be Hritik's (Aryan Prajapati) mother. But fans and viewers will be shocked to learn that the new woman in Happu's life is none other than our pot-bellied Daroga Happu Singh (Yogesh Tripathi) himself. All set to present himself in a dashing female avatar, Yogesh Tripathi who enjoyed the getup process revealed that he took inspiration from his favourite Bollywood actor Govinda's movie, Aunty No. 1. With so much effort gone into creating the female look, Happu's new getup is sure to swoon all the men in the adjacent neighbourhood.

It all started with Happu making fun of Hritik's maths teacher who complained that his wife was not a woman but a man! Instead of showing some sympathy towards the teacher, Happu, in his usual style, laughed at him, and he left the scene, making the teacher feel very insulted. But very soon Happu would come to realize the real meaning of, 'tit for tat.' His son Hrithik failed in his exam, and the same teacher who was insulted by Happu ordered Hrithik to call his parents. Happu realizing what he had done thinks hard of ways to avoid an awkward situation. It is when Happu decides to go to his son's school in the guise of his mother and his aide Benny takes the role of Hritik's father.
Talking about his look, Yogesh Tripathi shares, "I am a huge Govinda fan and try to imitate his dancing and dressing style, particularly. It is a known fact that I am a huge Govinda fan. When I was told about the upcoming track, my first instinct was to revisit Govinda's iconic movie, Aunty No. 1. Taking inspiration from the same, I planned to bring alive the combination of beauty and comedy, and I must say shooting the entire sequence was filled with the comedy of errors. The upcoming episode is hilarious enough to make you roll with laughter."
In the upcoming fresh episodes, Daroga Happu Singh, his 'Dabangg Dulhan' Rajesh and his obstinate mother Katori Amma's 'gharelu' misadventures and comic tragedies will continue with a lot more Zabardast and Mazedaar plots with unexpected twists that will surely leave the audience in splits.
