Deepak to take it on the chin in Sasural Genda Phool

Star Plus’ light-hearted show Sasural Genda Phool will soon witness a new track wherein Sanjana (Tapeshwari Sharma) will create a new problem for Deepak (Akshay Sethi) by sticking posters all across the college mentioning that he will soon enter into a boxing match against the champion Kunal- the tiger. Our source informs, “Sanjana who is irked with Deepak wants to take revenge so she will play a prank on him and announce by sticking posters that he has challenged boxing champion Kunal for a face-off in an upcoming boxing championship in the college. Meanwhile, Deepak who is unaware about the development will get to know everything by seeing the posters. Deepak will get scared and he will think of backing out from the championship. However, Suhana (Ragini Khanna) and other members of the family will support and motivate him to enter the contest. They will also help him to prepare for the championship. Finally, Sanjana’s plan will back-fire as Deepak will win the championship.” We spoke to Akshay Sethi (Deepak) who said, “Sanjana will trap me by announcing my name for a boxing match against a champion. This will be an interesting sequence and let’s see who will win the contest.” The track reminds us of a similar sequence from the movie Dil staring Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit. All we can say is that everything is justified in the name of inspiration.
