Actress Deepika Singh, best known for her role as IPS officer Sandhya Rathi in "Diya Aur Baati Hum", is taking motherhood tips from her friend Divyanka Tripathi -- for the upcoming track of the show.
Deepika's character Sandhya is seen welcoming twin sons in the show, and to build a good bond with her onscreen children, Deepika has sought the help of Divyanka, who shares a great onscreen and off screen camaraderie with her 'reel' step-daughter Ruhi from TV show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein".
"I really admire the bond Divyanka shares with Ruhi onscreen and off screen as I have met them several times. In fact, even the audiences love their camaraderie and can’t take their eyes off the adorable bond between the two," Deepika said.
“So, when it came to doing homework for my role, the first person who came to my mind was Ishima (Divyanka), and after speaking to her, I am all the more kicked about the new track on the show,” Deepika said in a statement.
Asked about some of the tips she got from Divyanka, Deepika said, “I plan to implement the tips of spending time off screen with the kids so that when we are in front of the camera, the bonding is natural.”
“Diya Aur Baati Hum” is aired on Star Plus.
