It’s said that in media business there are no permanent friends or enemies...however, in a scenario of conflict of interest, often daggers are drawn and water gets murky.
A similar situation is brewing with Mika Singh’s unceremonious exit from Comedy Nights Live (Optimystix). For those who came in late, Mika, who was an integral part of Comedy Nights Live airing on Colors, was asked to leave the show after he made an appearance on the rival comic entity on Sony Entertainment Television, The Kapil Sharma Show.
Tellychakkar.com was the first to report about Mika’s ousting, and now, as per sources, the acrimony has gone rancorous.
As per media reports, Colors has sent legal notice to Kapil's show’s production houses (K9 and Frames) and the broadcaster (Sony), asking them to refrain from airing the episode featuring him.
Now, as per the latest development that we have heard from our sources is that Mika has apparently asked Colors to clear his dues or face legal action.
As per our sources, the Comedy Nights Live team recently shot an episode without featuring the popular Bollywood singer. His signature chair was removed from the spot and audiences filled the space.
Is it all out war between Mika and Colors?
We buzzed Mika and also dropped a text to the channel spokesperson for a comment but they didn’t reply till the time of filing the article.
