MUMBAI: Popular Television actors Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are one of the most popular real life couples. The duo recently embraced parenthood after the arrival of their son Ruhaan Shoaib Ibrahim. They have been sharing sweet glimpses of their son and family on social media.
Dipika’s mother-in-law has now heaped praise for her daughter-in-law Dipika saying, “Ever since Ruhaan was born, it has been a big thing to take care of Ruhaan, to take care of the house, to do everything. All the hard work that she has put in, I have seen it.”
She added, “My daughter-in-law is very intelligent, I am proud of my daughter-in-law. Mujhe naaz hai ispe, fakr hai. Meri bahu bahut achhi hai.” Adding, “Main bahut khush hu, bahut achhi hai ye.”
Shoaib is also in awe of his wife Dipika and said, “I’ll add to this. It is not that other mothers don't take care of their children and don't do all the things. The way Dipika for a whole year during pregnancy and mostly after that… because in pregnancy, sometimes you don't understand so much, you don't know. Yes, internal things, complications or problems, hormones change, that happens. But when the baby is delivered, after that, not getting sleep, body changes, hiccups, postpartum, all those things that happen, and after that, I always tell her that it's not like that, that today we have this privilege. Like Dipika always says, ‘I have the privilege of being able to stay at home. I was able to choose.’
He concluded, “There are many women, who don't have any choice. They have to go to work. But after having that privilege, after having such a successful career, after reaching its peak, Dipika decision of not working for 2-3 years, saying she will only take care of Ruhaan, I think I have seen this in very few people today. I used to feel proud of her and I still feel very proud of her. The way she handled Ruhaan without... without putting me under pressure… I think it's a duty of a husband, that we can only do this much that we can support our wife during that period. We can motivate them.”
