MUMBAI: Dark circles have been a common problem for most adults.
The skin around the eyes is the thinnest; almost 40 per cent thinner and delicate compared to the skin on other parts of the body. Hence, it easily gets dehydrated, eventually leading to dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, wrinkles as well as other signs of ageing.
From lack of sleep to spending more time on the computer, there are several reasons why we have dark circles. While some of you have tried several remedies and still there has been no change, we look at celebrities and wonder how they work round the clock and they get away with dark circles!
Well, today we bring to you some DIY masks which will hydrate the area around your eyes and make you face look naturally beautiful.
Use cold compress washcloth or frozen spoons, frozen peas bag, chilled water!
You need just two staples from your kitchen – Potato and tomato. After peeling the potato skin, blend it with the tomato to form a puree. Drain the water through a muslin cloth and freeze the water in your ice tray. Use the cube twice a week! Make a paste out of baking soda and cold milk and apply it under your eye for 15 minutes. Wash off with cold water.
