Duty comes over personal life for Karishma Modi

It’s really hard to balance personal and professional life. And when there is a crisis in any of them, it’s bound to create a trouble in both spheres. This is what happened with the pretty and vivacious Karishma Modi Chandhoke who is seen in Life OK’s Shapath (Fireworks Productions). Recently during the shoot of her show, news came in about Karishma’s grandfather passing away. Karishma was preparing for some extremely difficult stunts which needed complete concentration, when the unit members got to know of her grandfather’s demise. They decided not to break the news to her, that too when she was indulging in some huge stunts. It was only after the pack up, that she was informed of what happened. Karishma who was extremely close to her grandfather dashed off in just a matter of minutes to pay her last respects. Says Karishma, "We work in an industry which stops for nothing. I think it was a wise decision as I would have not been able to shoot if they had informed me earlier. And then the whole day would have been wasted! It's a pity that I was not there around, during his last moments, but then these are some of the hazards of being in the television industry." Our condolences to you, brave girl!!
