Well, Ekroop recently visited her home town Ambala to usher in the New Year, and also to celebrate her birthday with her family. The actress who turned a year older on 1 January, had an emotional moment as she was meeting her parents after five long months.

Shared Ekroop, “My scenes in Suhani Si Ek Ladki have become high-voltage sequences, and as an actor you need to be on your toes to get the shots right. And the break for New Years’ indeed did wonders to me, as I went to Ambala, Haryana to my family. It was my birthday, and I enjoyed time with them. My mother got emotional as she was seeing me after months.”

On the exuberant birthday gifts received, Ekroop said, “I was flooded with gifts (smiles). I got a phone, watch, an anarkali dress and many other items. We cut a cake and enjoyed a pleasant family ambience.”

Ekroop got a break of just two days to be with her family. But the satisfied girl averred, “Yes, it was a very short visit; but I am happy to have made it. It will keep me going for the next few months.”

Well, Ekroop dropped right on the sets of her show after reaching Mumbai. “I got back with a lot of goodies for my entire team. I bought pinnis for my cast and crew; it is a favorite mithai in Haryana and everyone was happy.”
