Folks…when you put in hard work, positive results are bound to follow. Indiantelevision.com’s Eleventh Indian Telly Awards (Tellychakkar.com is a division of Indiantelevision.com), brought the best of faces and talents from the television industry under one roof and webbed a night which re-wrote the definitions of glitz, glamour and glory. It was truly the Baap of all TV awards. The event, which was aired on Saturday 30 June 2012 at the 7pm slot on Colors, has gained an impressive rating of 2.5. It is indeed a commendable achievement, given the fact that the event was pitted against several other prominent shows across channels at the same time slot. Manisha Sharma, Weekend Programming Head,Colors, said, "“Television is the pulse of the Indian entertainment industry and the Indian Telly Awards celebrates the talent that make this industry. With consistent audience support combined with the glitz and glamour, The Indian Telly Awards was a complete hit with the audiences raking in a rating of 2.5 TVR. Supported by some crackling moments between the anchors, electrifying performances by artists from across the industry and some well-deserved awards in taking the Indian television industry to an all new level, the Indian Telly Awards had it all. With the unique quality of bringing together the talented actors from different channels to one common platform that was showcased on Colors, the Awards provided audiences with the perfect visual treat that kept them glued to their seats.” Talking about the achievement, Anil Wanvari, CEO and Founder of Indiantelevision.com and Indian Telly Awards, says, “We are - along with the channel - pleased with ratings especially considering that it was on a weekend and an early evening slot. We would like to thank all those from industry who performed, won, presented awards, and attended for making it an entertaining evening. I would also like to thank the entire Colors team and my team for their positive contribution on the show and viewers at home for tuning in to the telecast.” The show will only get bigger and better in the future.
