MUMBAI: After the outbreak of Coronavirus, which then led to a shutdown of everything including shooting locations, Erica Fernandes is enjoying her break. However, other than common man, this lockdown had affected the entertainment industry too. Apart from daily wage workers, there have been reports that many actors are also facing the issue of the non-payment of dues. TV celebs like Shaheer Sheikh, Ravi Dubey, and Kushal Tandon have expressed their point of view towards this matter. This time Erica Fernandes opened up about the issues of non-payment of dues.

Speaking about the same, the actress shared, “If you go to see, everyone was stuck in the initial few months. I did not receive payments so I could not do payments. So, that is the case with everyone else because nobody was receiving payments to give. I also had to make a few payments too but I was not able to because I had no funds. That was the same case with producers, they did not have it initially but once they had, they gave us.”
Reports of non-payment dues of television crew and leading actors made handlines recently. This controversy of non-cleared dues sparked off when the cast and crew of Hamari Bahu Silk opened up about the problem and asked for help.
