Aakash Ahuja

MUMBAI: Aakash Ahuja is currently playing the lead role in Thapki Pyaar Ki 2. He was earlier seen in the Bollywood movie Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas as the negative lead. Some of the television shows he has been a part of are O Gujariya: Badle Chal Duniya and Qubool Hai.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him what kind of roles he wishes to play in the near future. He replied, “Honestly, I had no plans of returning to TV, but due to COVID, I felt that I needed to perform. The platform doesn't matter really to me, so I don't know in particular right now. I want to do a role that I can relate to and that is realistic. It's actually very difficult to be more natural, but that has always been my goal.”

We asked whether he enjoyed playing negative or positive roles. He shared, “I enjoyed both equally: negative and positive. In a negative role, there are certain limitations even though you have layers to it. In a positive role, you get to explore all the shades and have different relationships with different characters. Everything has its own charm. I'm just looking for good roles now.”

Lastly, we asked how happy he is with his journey in this industry. He said, “I won't call it smooth, because there have been some struggles. But I'm very grateful that every project that I've done in my life. I've grown with each experience.”

Colors’ Thapki Pyar Ki 2 is coming to an end. The show, which returned with its second season on 4 October 2021, will air its last episode on 3 April 2022.

Good luck, Aakash!
