As reported by us, the channel is gearing up to launch the second season of singing reality show Superstar Singer. The first season of the show was judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Javed Ali, and Alka Yagnik and hosted by Jay Bhanushali. The winner of the first season, Prity Bhattachajee, was awarded the 'Superstar Singer Trophy' along with a cash prize of ₹15,00,000.

Now, as per latest development, Indian Idol 10 winner Salman Ali and Indian Idol 12 finalist Mohd Danish have come on board as captains for the second season of Superstar Singer.
The second season will be launched by the mid-April. It will replace India’s Got Talent, which features Manoj Muntashir, Shilpa Shetty, Badshah, and Kironn Kher as judges and Arjun Bijlani as the host.
Superstar Singer provides a platform to talented children from across India. They are mentored and judged by famous playback singers from the Hindi film industry. They compete against each other in various rounds to win the coveted title and prize.
