MUMBAI: Abhishek Kumar is a television actor best known for his performance in serials like Kumkum Bhagya and Indiawaali Maa.

He is currently seen in Kumkum Bhagya. The actor he essays the role of Ranbir's friend Jai. He has brought in a lot of twists and turns in the serial.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and aksed him about his experience of working with Balaji Telefilms, how he bagged the show, and much more.

How did you bag the show Kumkum Bhagya?

When you come to the city with big dreams and you go for auditions, there are so many good looking actors. One auditions and then getting a call is one’s destiny. I had auditioned for Balaji’s show Qayamat Ki Raat and then I signed the show but it went off air. Post that I auditioned for Kumkum Bhagya and then bagged the show and that’s how my second innings began.

How has the experience been working with Balaji Telefilms?

I had heard that every actor in Balaji Telefilms is very kind and down to earth and are always there to help and support. Everything is done so systematically and so clean. Everything is managed very well and there is always a personal touch. One is always comfortable in working with the cast and crew.

What are the pressures of working in a Balaji show?

I was not nervous while working with Balaji and I was sure that I wanted to do TV. I feel grateful to be working in such a big production house as the entire cast and crew is so helpful. When I gave my first shot it turned out so nice. In one chance, I proved myself.
